This is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a family run business that specialises in the construction and interior fit-out of commercial and residential properties.

This role is ideal for someone currently studying part time for either a Quantity Surveying degree or HNC/HND in Construction, and who is keen to develop their knowledge and progress with their career for future development or someone with a couple of years experience.

As an expanding Company providing drylining, internal finishes, SFS, EWI and rendering services, we are looking to appoint a Trainee Quantity Surveyor looking to progress in a driven construction-based environment.

You will report to the Commercial team and work closely alongside them, covering the Northwest region visiting sites when required, to gain further training and learn how the business operates.

You will be responsible for assisting the team with a variety of tasks inclusive of

  • Variations and instructions
  • Measuring and calculations of installed works on site
  • Measuring on site for procurement purpose
  • Application for payments
  • You will be working as part of a team but will also be expected to manage your own workload
  • Projects will range in value from 30,000 to 2 million

You must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills, enthusiastic with a can-do attitude Requirements:

  • Dedication and Professionalism
  • Good numeracy and IT skills
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Processing of documentation [complying with GDPR requirements]
  • A full current UK Driving Licence
  • Eligible to work full time within the UK
