Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to support reception pupils on a 1-1 basis at a school near Blackpool.
This part-time position requires the candidate to work three mornings a week, from 9am to 12pm, starting in January 2025 and ongoing thereafter.
Candidates must have relevant experience in early childhood education, along with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.

EYFS Teaching Assistant:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced Early Years teaching assistant to join a lovely school near to Blackpool. You will be supporting reception pupils on a 1-1 basis.

This is a part time position for three mornings a week. The successful candidate will have previous experience with early years and a relevant experience in early childhood.

Role Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities for children.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions and activities.
Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Relevant qualifications in early childhood education would be highly desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
