One of the UK's most successful distributors of CCTV, IP, Access Control and Intruder Detection solutions is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join their successful team in Blackpool.The company you will be joining is part of an impressive group with an annual UK turnover exceeding £1 billion. The company continues to grow through acquisitions and they pride themselves on building long-lasting relationships with their customers, suppliers and employees. They currently employ over 1,700 people across the country and with continued growth, this number continues to expand.Role ResponsibilitiesAs a Technical Support Engineer, you will:

  • Provide in-depth customer support on a range of products and technologies via phone and email
  • Provide specific guidance on configuration and set-up of equipment
  • Help customers to understand and adapt to new products quickly
  • Assist in efficient diagnosing and rectifying of issues
  • Determine customer's specific requirements and meet this need with the design of a 'best fit' solution

RewardsAs a Technical Support Engineer, you will receive:

  • A starting salary on £28,000 - £33,000 (depending on experience)
  • Annual uncapped bonus

  • 25 days holiday allowance
  • Working hours are 09:00-17:30 Monday to Thursday, 09:00-17:00 Friday

RequirementsTo be successful in this Technical Support Engineer role, you should be:

  • From a CCTV or IT Networking background
  • An excellent communicator with strong computer skills
  • Able to learn new concepts quickly
