We are currently seeking a variety of staff members to assist with daily, short-term, and long-term reservations in our Blackpool area primary schools. For long-term positions, a teacher must be committed for at least one or two terms of support.

For day-to-day support, the role of a supply teacher is an important one. It involves confidently working to a different set plan each day to continue raising the attainment of each child in their class teacher's absence. The work will be pre - planned, you will be expected to deliver the work to a high standard and complete full marking in the teacher's absence. Pay for daily cover starts at £130+ per day.

Long-term roles will require a successful candidate to plan, prepare and mark their own class resources and work. You may be asked to support with termly reports and parents evenings etc. This role comes with the full responsibility of the class teacher and requires such commitment. Pay for long-term roles starts at £160+ per day.

Essential requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications (PGCE, QTS, etc.).
  • High knowledge of the KS1 national curriculum.
  • Classroom experience.
  • Two references from the last 5 years (1 must be a full child-based safeguarding reference)
