Teaching Assistant - Blackpool:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant to join one of our lovely primary school near to Blackpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent psychology graduate who is interested in pursuing a career in education.
This is a full time position to start as soon as possible.
The Role:
- Preparing learning resources and activities
- Building rapport with parents, students and teachers
- Keeping regular communication with the teacher to monitor progress
Position Details:
- Location: Blackpool
- Position: Teaching Assistant
- Hours: 8:20am-3:20pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary setting
- Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification would be highly desired
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
