We are seeking a dynamic and committed Science Teacher to join one of our Secondary Schools covering a maternity leave.We are looking for an enthusiastic Science Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have a passion for science, the ability to inspire students, and a commitment to maintaining high academic standards. You will work closely with our well-established Science Department, which is dedicated to fostering curiosity and academic success in all students.Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Engage and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
  • Maintain a positive and safe learning environment.
  • Contribute to department meetings and collaborate with colleagues on resources and strategies.

What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
  • Experience teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is desirable but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
