Whilst challenging, you will be given comprehensive support & training both on site and at OEM locations internationally.

We are looking for a process improvement craftsperson/toolmaker to join the team on a full time, permanent basis.

The Role:

Working as part of the front line production maintenance engineering team, you will be one of only 2 members of the team based in the engineering workshop, your responsibilities will cover the following:

Identify persistent faults with the engineering and operations teams.

Use a variety of mechanical manufacturing tools/machinery to provide solutions: milling, turning, grinding etc

Provide technical support to the maintenance engineers and operations team.

Analyse and optimise production processes

Own and manage small projects within the engineering department.

The Person:

Comprehensive machining experience using a range of mechanical manufacturing tools: milling, turning, grinding etc

A good understand of process improvement and the associated tools/methodologies

Previous experience working in a production manufacturing facility (ideally working with continuous production lines) beneficial

Qualified to level 3 or above in a relevant engineering discipline

Previous experience working in a fast paced environment (FMCG, packaging etc)- beneficial

You couldve previously worked as: maintenance engineer, process improvement engineer, manufacturing engineer, CNC machinist, craftsman, production engineer and other alike titles
