This role is ideal for someone with machine operating experience and a safety-first approach, although training will be provided.
- Role - Production Operative - Corrugator Team Member (Pitman Shift)
- Location: DS Smith Packaging, South Mills, The Ridgeway, Blunham, Bedford MK44 3PH
- Rate: 15.46 per hour (paid breaks), Overtime available for 42+ hours:

OT 1.5 Monday to Saturday

Double time on Sundays
- Contract Length: Temp to Perm (3 months initially)
- Shift:Pitman Shift pattern, 6:00 AM/PM to 6:00 PM/AM (12-hour shifts including Days and Nights)
- Site Tour: 30th January,2025 with the view to start ASAP
Responsibilities:

Operate machinery safely and efficiently

Ensure productivity and performance targets are met

Maintain consistent quality standards

Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as per schedule

Adhere to UK Health and Safety legislation at all times

Support improvement initiatives as needed
Essential requirements:

Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment

Good knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
-
Safety-focused with a positive, enthusiastic attitude

Good communication skills (both verbal and written)

Team player, quality-conscious, and adaptable to multi-skilled working
