Halcyon are proud to be working closely with a provider based throughout the Southwest of England, that specialise in providing support to young adults transitioning to adulthood, as well as residential homes for children from the ages of 8 to 18 years old. Established in 2015, they originally supported young people aged 16-18 through a range of semi-independent supported accommodation homes.  However, through collaborative working with partner Commissioners, they have successfully broadened their services to include Registered Children’s Homes.

They are now looking for a dedicated, passionate Home Manager to join their team based in Devon and be the leading element in this home making a smooth transition into becoming a regulated service, with the new legislations and guidelines coming in the next 12 months. Therefore, having an understanding and a background in managing Ofsted services is essential, as you will be expected to demonstrate your adaptability and knowledge around Ofsted guidelines, as these new regulations come into practise.

In this role, it will be your responsibility to oversee a semi-independent home based in Burlescombe, Devon, that supports young adults between the ages of 16 and 18. These young adults can have varying needs including, emotional behavioural disorders, mental health needs and attachment issues. Due to the support needs of the young adults in the home, you will be required to have experience of working with EBD / CAMHS, in a previous position and be confident in Ofsted regulations.

If this sounds like the perfect role for you, we look forward to receiving your application and discussing this with you further. If you think you know someone that would be great for the role, you could earn £200 through our refer a friend scheme.
