Production Operative - Westhoughton?? Calling all General Assistants! ??
We have an exciting Temporary opportunity for you to join a successful international group as a Production Operative! ?? Our client, based in Westhoughton, is a key manufacturing plant within their industry, specialising in printing and converting films for the security paper industry. As part of their team, you'll have the chance to learn new skills and contribute to the production of unique products for customers all over the world. �?
?? Key Responsibilities: * Maintain housekeeping standards across all areas, ensuring a clean and organised work environment.* Comply with security instructions to maintain a safe working environment.* Assist with basic preventative maintenance activities and update Standard Operating Procedures when necessary.* Support stocktaking activities and check consumable and PPE stock levels in designated areas.* Provide assistance to Manufacturing Operatives, including machine clean downs.* Operate flow-line and shot-blast equipment to ensure smooth production flow.* Carry out general cleaning duties in manufacturing areas.* Support the Warehouse team with loading and unloading, rack material, and deliver materials to Manufacturing.* Manage waste removal, including shredding and guillotining waste products.* Provide on-the-job training and development for new and existing employees.

Requirements: * Must have own Transport. * Must have settled status in the UK due to 5 year Security Vetting* Ability to work different 12-hour shift patterns, including nights & weekends depending on rota.* Basic literacy and numeracy skills.* Good computer skills.* Experience handling COSHH materials.* Understanding of workplace organisation principles.* Excellent team player with a continuous improvement mindset.* Flexible and proactive approach with the ability to work to tight deadlines.* Physically fit with good manual handling skills.
