Role - Technical Supervisor 

The Firm:

A Legal 500 defendant insurance heavyweight based in the Manchester area, well-regarded for its work with insurers on a wide range of issues. This role is specifically for its casualty team to undertake supervision and auditing of the wider casualty team to ensure best practises are being employed.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Support the technical manager of the casualty team
  • Lead internal audits of the casualty team to ensure best practise
  • Develop strong and effective business relationships with key stakeholders within the firm
  • Provide feedback to staff within the casualty team to ensure the firm is operating at the level it should be
  • Identify opportunities to develop and enhance existing procedures and processes where appropriate

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrable experience handling litigated multi-track and fast track casualty claims
  • A proven history of managing, coaching and developing others
  • Ability to demonstrate a consistent exposure to monitoring and driving the successful implementation of effective, corrective/improvement plans through to conclusion and in a timely manner
