Interim HR business partner sought to join higher education institution in Bolton. 3 months Interim with a view to go permanent.

This role requires an experienced HR professional adept at influencing leadership, managing change, and delivering impactful HR solutions that support the organisation's growth and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborates with senior leaders to design and implement a comprehensive people strategy
  • Provides expertise in workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning
  • Leads initiatives to foster a high-performance culture through engagement programmes and leadership development
  • Oversees the design and delivery of change management strategies to support organisational transformation
  • Advises on complex employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with employment law and HR best practices
  • Promotes employee well-being and contributes to an inclusive and positive workplace culture
  • Drives innovation in HR by leading projects focused on diversity and inclusion, reward frameworks, and digital transformation
  • Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders and serves as a proactive and influential advisor
  • Works collaboratively with the wider HR team to deliver high-quality, consistent HR service

You will be based in their Bolton office, with flexibility to work from home once a week.

  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • A strong HR background within a fast-paced and highly commercial environment
  • Proven strategic experience with the ability to deliver operational where required
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives
  • You will ideally be MCIPD or Associate
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach and a proven ability to deliver results
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices*
  • Experience in managing complex projects, including organisational change and culture development
