Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 3:00pm
Salary: £140 - £200 Per day
Expected start date: April 2025
Value Education are working with an exceptional secondary school in the Bolton area that are looking for an experienced Teacher of Maths.
This is a long-term position starting after the Easter holidays, with the right candidate having the opportunity to go onto a permanent contract.
Teacher of Maths Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students
- Plan and prepare lesson materials in line with the curriculum
- Assess and evaluate student progress regularly
- Provide feedback to students and parents on academic performance
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
- Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
Teacher of Maths requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Mathematics or related field
- Prior experience teaching mathematics at the secondary school level
- Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Mathematics
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
