Psychology graduate - Bolton - Early November start

Prospero Teaching are looking for an ambitious Psychology Graduate with a passion for supporting students with social, emotional and mental health needs at a school in Bolton. It is essential that you have experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.

Full time
Minimum rate - 90 per day
Hours 8am to 16:00pm : Mon Fri (term time only)

Responsibilities:

Working with and providing support to children with SEN (Special Educational Needs)
Experience of supporting pupils with SEMH
The willingness to provide an environment in which pupils can reach their full potential
The ability to build rapports with the children, supporting their social and behavioural needs, and acting as a mentor

Role Requirements:

Psychology (BA Hons) degree
Enhanced DBS (clean and relevant) Can be obtained through Prospero Teaching
Safeguarding certificate, prevent awareness, FGM - essential
Behaviour management training - desirable
A committed and enthusiastic attitude to work
Excellent communication skills and the ability to form new relationships
A full driving licence with access to a vehicle

Desirable:

Previous experience working with young people
Good knowledge of SEMH needs
