1:1 Year 3 Teaching Assistant - Immediate Start

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bootle, Sefton, on a full-time, long-term basis. In this role, you will provide tailored support to a Year 3 child with attachment and trauma needs, helping them thrive in a nurturing school environment.

Your Role:

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Build a trusting and supportive relationship with the child.
  • Provide both emotional and academic support to help them engage positively in school life.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver consistent and effective support.
  • Foster a calm, nurturing learning environment to promote growth and confidence.
About You:

  • Be patient, empathetic, and understanding of individual challenges.

  • Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification, or demonstrate equivalent experience.
