We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in our inclusive mainstream school. This Teaching Assistant role involves working closely with teachers and other staff to assist in delivering tailored learning plans, promoting independence, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEND.
- Encourage social and emotional development, ensuring students feel valued and included.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor progress and address concerns.
- Support the safety and well-being of students, maintaining a calm and nurturing environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEND (preferred).
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and work flexibly in a dynamic setting.
