Estimator

Superb opportunity for an experienced Estimator to join this specialist manufacturer of bespoke commerical doors.

They are based in purpose-built premises based in GU35 Hampshire - you must be able to commute comfortably to & most likely drive

The Estimator supports the provision of accurate and timely quotations as a critical part of the sales journey. Working with the Sales teams, this role will exemplify company values through maintaining excellent technical knowledge, a consultative approach to internal and external communications, and meticulous organisation and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Driving the 'Estimating’ stage of the Sales Pipeline.

• Interpreting Architectural information and converting into company schedules,

• Assisting with the delivery of sales targets and ensuring the best possible service to customers.

• Assessing quote requests and making appropriate commercial recommendations as necessary.

• Dealing with ad-hoc customer sales queries and orders.

• Maintain quote list/incoming enquiries from sales team

• Creating revised quotes as required

• Raising market awareness of the company’s products and services.

• Sharing feedback as received and working with the Senior Estimator to identify process improvements and implement them as agreed with the wider business.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office packages essential

• Analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.

• A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential, with the ability to multitask.

• Previous experience of estimating within the joinery/construction sector would be a distinct advantage but not essential

• Knowledge of fire door certification/architectural ironmongery would an advantage but not essential

Renumeration

• up to £36,000 depending on experience
