Sonic Summary

We are seeking a mechanical bias maintenance engineer with strong experience in HVAC systems for a role in the building services sector.
The position involves planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on various mechanical plant and building services equipment.
Candidates should have a Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent and experience in commercial building maintenance.
The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, which should include several years of relevant work in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) & reactive maintenance on:

AHUs (Air Handling Units) & FCUs (Fan Coil Units)
Cooling Towers & Air Conditioning Systems
Pumps, Motors, Valves, and Pressurisation Units
Heating & Hot/Cold Water Systems
Plumbing systems - drainage, flushing and bathroom/kitchen repairs
Leak detection/fixing
Fault finding, servicing, and repairs on various mechanical plant and building services equipment
Ensuring all maintenance work is compliant with health & safety regulations
Logging and updating maintenance reports and records

Requirements:

Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Strong experience working in commercial building maintenance
Knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and cooling towers
Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
Willingness to participate in on-call rota (additional allowance)
