Senior Property Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a designated portfolio of properties, ensuring they are maintained in excellent condition and compliant with regulations and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing a high standard of professionalism and communication.
  • Oversee tenancy preparations, property inspections, and ensure all health and safety requirements are met.
  • Manage tenant requests, refurbishment projects, and maintenance works, including liaising with contractors and supervising larger works as necessary.
  • Handle tenancy renewals, rent negotiations, and minimising property voids to meet client targets.
  • Monitor tenant arrears, approve invoices, and ensure accurate record-keeping on the property management system.
  • Develop strong relationships with landlords, tenants, contractors, and colleagues, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Identify opportunities for new business, cross-selling, and increasing revenue for the department.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in lettings property management is essential.
  • ARLA or IRPM qualifications (desirable).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage difficult situations and prioritise workload in a high-pressure environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • A strong team ethic with the ability to work independently or collaboratively, and a focus on maintaining professional relationships.
  • Experience working with High-Rise buildings.
