Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:
- Providing one-to-one or small group support tailored to the individual needs of students.
- Assisting teachers in planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Promoting a positive learning environment where students feel motivated and valued.
- Helping with classroom management and ensuring all students stay engaged.
- Supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development.
Requirements for a Teaching Assistant:
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
- A caring, patient, and proactive attitude towards supporting children’s learning.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and a willingness to undergo necessary safeguarding checks, including an enhanced DBS certificate.
