Business Development Manager – Anaerobic Digestion

Competitive Salary (DOE)

Hybrid working opportunity – ability to commute into Kent as required

MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive the growth of anaerobic digestion equipment sales.

Working with one of the UK’s industry leaders in providing cutting-edge process equipment for anaerobic digestion. Our clients’ innovative technologies help convert organic waste into renewable energy, contributing to a sustainable future.

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the anaerobic digestion sector
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry stakeholders, and key decision-makers
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
  • Present and demonstrate the benefits of our anaerobic digestion equipment to prospective clients
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and negotiate contracts
  • Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our products and services
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management

To be considered for this role you should have:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the anaerobic digestion sector
  • Strong understanding of anaerobic digestion processes and equipment
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to travel as required
