Management Accountant

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering exclusively with a specialist professional services provider based in Bournemouth, Dorset, who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their established finance team.This is an exciting opportunity to join this business in a pivotal role within this corporate business environment, you will be reporting into the Financial Controller but have exposure at Director level with stakeholder management responsibilities. This opportunity offers great career progression and an ideal move for someone trained in practice looking for a first role within an industry environment or alternatively an existing Management Accountant looking for a stable and long term career move. What will the Management Accountant role involve?

• Working closely with the Finance Director, producing accurate management accounts to strict deadlines.
• Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasting and partnering in the wider team to gather this financial information.
• Month end and nominal ledger reconciliations and resolving any discrepancies.
• Monthly payroll preparations.
• Preparing VAT returns on a monthly basis.
• Finance business partnering with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Suitable Candidate for the Management Accountant role:

• Ideally you will be studying ACCA, CIMA or similar level accounting qualification.
• Experience gained within the professional services sector is highly preferable.
• Knowledge of SRA (Solicitors Accounts Rules) is desirable although not essential.
• Happy to communicate at all levels.
• Driven, self starter who enjoys continuous development.
