Senior Business Support Officer

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Business Support Officer to join our SEND Business Support Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

As a Senior Business Support Officer, you will provide high-level guidance and technical support within the team. You will be responsible for ensuring efficient business processes, supporting colleagues, and maintaining high standards of customer service. This is a temporary position with the potential to extend. Initially, you will be office-based for up to two weeks for training, followed by a hybrid arrangement with one day per week in the office.

In this role, you will be expected to offer expert advice and technical support while handling complex customer inquiries to ensure high-quality service. You will organize and manage multi-agency meetings, accurately capturing decisions and key points. Maintaining accurate data records, producing statistical reports, and supporting workflow improvements will also be key aspects of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance service delivery and ensure compliance with relevant procedures.

We are looking for someone with experience in administrative or business support roles, strong IT skills including proficiency in MS Office and database management, and excellent organizational and communication abilities. The ability to prioritize workload and manage competing demands effectively is essential. While knowledge of SEND services and experience working with partnership organizations is desirable, it is not essential.

To be considered for this role, you must hold an A-Level, NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration, or have equivalent experience. A Basic DBS check will be required, and you must be able to travel if necessary. You should also be comfortable handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
