Role Overview:

As a Classroom Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons and providing exceptional support to your students. You will play a key role in shaping the academic success of the school, fostering intellectual curiosity and ensuring that each student is empowered to reach their full potential.

Classroom Teacher Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engaging and well-structured lessons across a range of subjects, in line with the school curriculum
  • Assessing students' progress and providing feedback to support their continuous improvement
  • Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported
  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver cross-curricular initiatives and contribute to the overall development of the school
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a respectful, productive learning environment
  • Maintaining accurate records of students' academic achievements, behaviour and development
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents and staff to ensure the highest standards of educational outcomes.

Classroom Teacher Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification, such as QTS or ECT status.
  • Proven experience as a Classroom Teacher, with a solid understanding of the UK curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting students' educational and emotional development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
  • Have an updated CV (with two relevant references from the last two years and covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
