Procurement Systems & Administration Officer

Are you highly organised with a keen eye for detail? Do you have experience managing purchasing processes and financial systems? We are looking for a Procurement Systems & Administration Officer to support the smooth operation of purchasing card systems, eTendering platforms, and contract management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the daily administration of Purchasing Cards, ensuring all processes are followed efficiently

* Act as the main point of contact for purchasing card queries and requests, liaising with internal teams and providers

* Manage card applications, approvals, limits, replacements, and account maintenance

* Provide training and guidance to cardholders and managers on policies and procedures

* Track and monitor spending patterns, off-contract purchases, and potential fraud risks

* Maintain and update contract registers, eTendering systems, and transparency reporting

* Work with finance teams to ensure accurate reconciliation and approval of transactions

* Run spend analysis reports, identifying key trends and providing insights for decision-making

* Continuously review and improve procedures, workflows, and procurement systems

What We're Looking For:

* Experience with purchasing cards, procurement systems, or financial administration

* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook

* Ability to analyse data, compile reports, and provide informed recommendations

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to challenge and improve processes

* Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands

* A flexible and proactive approach to work, supporting different teams as needed

Requirements:

* 3 A-Levels, NVQ 4, HND, diploma, or equivalent experience

* Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (or ability to travel using other transport options)
