Your Company:A financial services business is seeking a Finance Assistant to join the team in the Bournemouth area. This business supports the start-up of hundreds of businesses across multiple markets, both in the UK and internationally, seeking to support enterprises with the aim of impacting wider global issues in a positive manner. This position within their finance team will support a wide range of businesses, systems and negotiations, striving to provide solutions to optimise processes and increase profits.Your Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Taking ownership of the day-to-day reconciliation process
  • Analysing costs, challenging any aspects that are not how they should be or could be improved upon
  • Providing insightful information with the aim of improving performance across the business
  • Suggesting proactive improvements in areas such as processes
  • Actively seeking opportunities to close the books faster without compromising on quality or accuracy
  • Identifying value-adding tasks to prioritise 
What you will need to Apply:The ideal candidate for this role will be able to demonstrate good previous experience in a financial assistant role, specifically with proven cases of where improvements were delivered that successfully saved money or increased profits. The company is looking for someone who can identify where improvements are needed and action these accordingly. Experience maintaining financial records is required.
