Support and Inclusion Officer

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for Support and Inclusion Officers to join a dedicated team working to prevent homelessness and support individuals in securing sustainable housing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work directly with individuals to help them stay in their homes and prevent homelessness

* Support homeless households in finding long-term accommodation

* Develop personalised housing and support plans tailored to each client's needs

* Provide tenancy advice and assist with applications for housing and welfare benefits

* Liaise with landlords, private sector housing providers, and partner agencies to prevent eviction

* Deliver support in a range of community settings, including home visits

* Empower vulnerable individuals to live independently and maintain their tenancies

* Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures

What We're Looking For:

* Experience in housing support, social care, or customer service

* Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

* Ability to manage a caseload and work independently

* Compassionate and resilient when supporting vulnerable individuals

* IT proficiency and attention to detail in record-keeping

* Team player with a proactive approach

Requirements:

* GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)

* Enhanced DBS check

* Full UK driving licence and ability to travel as needed

* Flexibility to adapt to changing demands
