We are currently working with a Multi-Academy Trust who are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join their centralised finance team. This role is on an ongoing temporary basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the CFO with resources and business functions.
- Administer all aspects of finance and reporting to the Finance and Audit Committee and Board of Trustees.
- Manage operational financial tasks for schools.
- Ensure financial transactions are up-to-date for accurate budget monitoring.
- Oversee ordering, receipt of goods, and authorisation of payments.
- Ensure timely and accurate income collection and banking.
- Input accounting data with speed and accuracy.
- Produce financial statements, spreadsheets, reports, and correspondence.
You will need to be someone with at least 2 years working experience in a finance role who is willing to hit the ground running. Experience with IRIS/PS Financials is highly desirable.
