Internal Sales Executive

Mpeople are excited to be working with a well-established Logistics company based in Bradford in their search for an experienced Sales Executive within the Freight/logistics industry

The successful candidate will be working within a fast-paced team, and the key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Maintaining and expanding on existing customer relationships

  • Provide customers with accurate and cost-effective quotations in writing and follow up verbally

  • Identifying and developing new sales opportunities through telesales and spot quoting

  • Accompanying area sales managers to customer visits to gauge customer needs

  • Utilising CRM database to monitor client interactions

  • Maintain appropriate knowledge of the competition and marketplace

Our ideal candidate would have previous experience in road haulage and some sales background. Be unafraid to pick up the phone and call our clients to discuss our additional service and be looking to achieve more than just their basic salary.

Experience in the following softwares would be amazing! 

  • Sugar – Client relation management  

  • Qlik Sense – business analysis tool

  • RTC – Rate tariff calculator

  • Rocs – Transport management system

  • Excel / Power point / Wiki
