JHE & Partners are working exclusively with a growing manufacturing business in Bradford who are looking for a ledger manager on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-standing business who are looking to transform their market and grow.

Working closely with the finance director, this is a newly created position working in a small team of 4. The chosen candidate will oversee one transactional team member and be ultimately responsible for the sales, purchase and cashflow of the business. The company has exciting growth plans in place and this role is imperative for a solid and smooth-running accounts function.

  • Manage the day-to-day purchase and sales ledger operations
  • Keep abreast of cash function and forecasting, working closely with the finance director
  • Managing one assistant
  • Being a key contact for query escalation, building relationships accordingly
  • Generating weekly debit / creditor reports
  • Manage supplier calls
  • Implement, streamline and improve processes to improve overall efficiency
  • General purchase and credit control / debt management duties
  • Working on Excel and SAP
  • Working with both internal and external stakeholders

This is a genuinely exciting position offering the chosen candidate the autonomy to really make this their own. The finance director is looking for someone with proven experience across ledger management and cashflow, who can really drive the function forward.

Salary on offer will pay in the region of £40,000 with 25 days holiday.
