Employment Lawyer needed in Bradford Paying £24.28 per hr Ref 5258857

Full time time on a temporary basis

  • Role Purpose: Provide expert legal advice and representation on employment law matters to clients, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide employment law advice and litigation assistance to various entities, including schools and the Children's Trust.

    • Undertake all aspects of employment litigation, including advocacy work, drafting responses, settlement agreements, and liaising with the ET, ACAS, and private practice solicitors.

    • Advise senior officers, members, and committees on all aspects of employment law, policies, and procedures, including discrimination, equality duties, whistleblowing, and TUPE.

    • Clerk employee appeals and advise on grievance and disciplinary hearings.

    • Advise HR on policies and procedures.

    Main Areas of Law Covered:

    • Education

    • Employment (focus of the post on contentious and non-contentious matters)

    • Criminal litigation

    • Civil litigation
