This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join a highly regarded law firm based in central Bradford. Working within their Conveyancing department you will provide support to a busy Fee Earner. This is a busy and varied role which is ideally suited to someone who is experienced in working within residential conveyancing, you will have excellent organisational skills along with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Duties will include:

Manage all client work allocated by Supervisor or Department Head in accordance with

department procedures.

Draft correspondence and appropriate legal documents, ensuring accuracy at all times. Issue sales contracts.

Receive incoming telephone calls, dealing with enquiries or taking messages as appropriate.

Provide advice and guidance to clients ensuring that the client is regularly kept informed of progress and costs.

Liaise with estate agents, solicitors and others as required.

Deal appropriately with financial transactions on clients’ matters.

Prepare bills for clients.

Undertake opening and closing of files.

Undertake and issue searches on purchase matters.

Deal with pre-exchange searches and post completion registrations

Maintain an accurate and up to date filing system.

Develop a good relationship with existing and potential clients ensuring that a high standard of client care is exercised at all times.
