Logistics & Shipping Coordinator

£24,000 - £25,000 - Full Time (salary will be pro rata to hours agreed)
My client, a UK leading manufacturer is looking to find someone that has an interest in working within a busy team, liaising with departments & existing customers, is confident with taking customer calls, assisting with all enquiries and finding a solution.
First line contact for Suppliers, Customers, Carriers, Warehouse and Merchandiser for Shipping, Customs and Despatch queries.
· Liaising with merchandisers for any late deliveries or early stock
· Liaising with Freight Forwarders for incoming Shipments
· Chasing Invoice and packing list from Suppliers
· Checking copy documents sent once goods have shipped and arranging TT payment with accounts
· Chasing all original documentation for UK Customs clearance
· Liaising with Freight Forwarders / Customers for UK Customs clearance
· Liaising with Carriers for delivery to Customers
· Signing off Carrier Invoices
· Booking deliveries with customers
· Creating Customer order reports
· Arranging deliveries into warehouse
· Waving orders through to warehouse in system.
· Customer Invoicing for dispatched goods

I really need you to be able to demonstrate a strong ability to work under pressure, which will enable you to be a key support to this busy transport administration team.
Excel skills are needed as you will be managing reports and spreadsheets daily.
