Description
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse operatives.
- Ensure health and safety standards are met at all times.
- Monitor and improve warehouse procedures to increase efficiency.
- Prepare and deliver performance reports.
- Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
- Oversee receipt, storage, and timely dispatch of goods.
- Organise staff training and development.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
Profile
A successful Warehouse Supervisor should have:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Proficiency in standard logistics software.
- Excellent team management skills.
- Strong understanding of warehouse key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
