Description
- Coordinate and oversee all transport issues.
- Plan and manage logistics, transportation and customer services.
- Review and improve own performance and assist others in the team.
- Control, monitor and authorise driver's hours in line with procedure.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
- Monitor and report any accidents, ensuring the on time completion of forms in line with company procedure.
- Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.
Profile
A successful Transport Planner should have:
- Proven experience in logistics and transportation planning.
