The Role

As House Manager, you will play a central role in maintaining the highest standards of behaviour, discipline, presentation, and achievement within your assigned House.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and support the Catholic values of the College
  • Manage student records and ensure confidentiality
  • Monitor student progress, uniform standards, and overall participation
  • Provide pastoral care and guidance, attending care meetings as needed
  • Support House leaders in maintaining discipline and managing attendance
  • Coordinate House activities, such as retreats and events
  • Assist in the organisation of detentions, parent evenings, and fundraising
  • Liaise with parents and external agencies regarding student welfare

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for someone dedicated, organised, and passionate about student welfare. You should be able to lead by example and handle complex situations with empathy and professionalism. You will have:

  • NQF Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above
  • Proven clerical/administrative experience, ideally in a school or similar environment
  • Strong IT skills, including efficient internet use
  • Fluent in English, able to communicate complex ideas clearly
  • A positive, approachable attitude with a professional telephone manner
  • Ability to handle confidential information and remain calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to meet the role's demands and commitment to College policies
