Reed Education are delighted to be supporting a ‘good’ local primary school with the recruitment of a Social Worker to join their team on a permanent basis.
Position: Social Worker (School Based)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, TTO
Salary: PO2- SCP 29 to 32 (£28,805-£31,394 TTO, Annual Equivalent £38,626-£41,511)
Start Date: June 2025
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-resourced ‘good’ school as a Social Worker. The school are seeking an approachable, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and hard-working individual to join their support team.
This role offers the chance to grow and develop, playing a key part in supporting children, parents, and carers to achieve the best outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high-quality social work service to children, families, and carers under the direction of the Headteacher.
- Develop strong relationships with children and families to deliver a high-quality service.
- Contribute to planning and developing future services and policies.
Requirements:
- Appropriate social work professional qualification.
- Minimum of 12 months post-qualification experience in a statutory setting.
