Join our team as a Senior Accounts Administrator where you will be instrumental in managing our financial and administrative operations. This role involves a wide range of duties including financial reporting and maintaining accurate records using various software systems. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounts administration and experience using Xero.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Weekly credit control and daily bank reconciliation.
- Raise purchase orders, invoices, and upload bills.
- Handle escalated invoice queries and complete monthly bill runs for service and call charges.
- Process supplier payments and manage monthly payroll including supplier commissions.
- Oversee business rates and file quarterly VAT returns and yearly Corporation Tax.
- Update project software and tasks, and prepare commercially effective quotations for existing customers.
- Support and assist the Sales Manager.
- Systems used include Xero.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Xero accounting software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
