Alexander Daniels are recruiting for an experinced Finance Analyst to join a successful business in Bridgend. The successful candidate will be responsible for reconciling the Sales & Expenses of all Web & Platform Sales across all of thier worldwide brands.
- Reconciling Sales & Expenses across Web & Multiple Platforms
- Reconcile Bank to Daily/Weekly/Bi-weekly Disbursements
- Checking and submitting VAT on Monthly & Quarterly basis for multiple countries in relation to Amazon VAT Service Provider
- Supporting the Platforms Department to ensure correct verification information is submitted when setting up or updating platforms
- Provide Reporting on Sales, costs, margins etc
- Continually developing internal processes
- Meet month end deadlines
- Support with Annual Audit
- Support the finance team/company with ad-hoc tasks and projects as necessary
Experience
- Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience of dealing with a very high volume of transactions
- Experience of Shopify and Amazon
- Ability to resolve and reconcile issues using own initiate by identifying sources of errors, making retrospective corrections and ensuring that appropriate changes are put in place to prevent reoccurrence.
- Confident in using Excel and other Microsoft Applications
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
- Good organisation and administrative skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of financial controls and accounting standards.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be advantageous
