Greenwell Gleeson are partnering with a large and well known charity for a Tax Governance and Compliance Lead to cover an 11 month maternity leave.
This role is fully remote with travel once a month to Central Birmingham.
The role reports to the Head of Corporate Finance with a national remit, responsible for the implementation and maintenance of taxation governance and compliance arrangements across the Trust and its subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities include:

Managing all aspects of corporation tax compliance and reporting

Providing tax advisory services across the Group

Responsible for all tax related accounting entries in relation to corporation tax, Gift Aid and deferred tax

Key contact for HMRC

Maintenance of taxation governance framework
We are ideally looking for a Chartered (ACA) accountant or a specific Tax qualification with experience of working in an Accountancy Practice, ideally within the taxation function. You must be a self starter and enjoy working remotely.
