Account Controller - Global Spirits Producer (On Trade)

The Client:
- A global spirits producer experiencing impressive growth within the UK market
- A truly varied portfolio with a range of category leading household names and more premium brands
- Fantastic distribution across Grocery, Wholesale and On-Trade
- Looking to recruit an Account Controller to drive sales and continued strategic relationships with all National On Trade customers.
The Role:
- Taking ownership of the National On Trade channel as the business expert, leading for any future brand projects.
- Be hands on - manage a core number of agreed accounts within the channel such as JDW, Greene King, Stonegate & M&B
- Continue to develop smaller national operators by developing a KAM National On Trade direct report to unlock future areas of growth.
- Develop and implement a robust national account strategy that aligns with global business objectives.
- Provide detailed reporting and analysis of channel performance and present findings to the leadership team
Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrated commercial knowledge
- Passion for the on-trade Nationals environment
- Have had experience of dealing with the identified National Accounts - ideally in spirits if not broader drinks
- Have existing connections and relationships across National buying teams
