Our client, a prestigious company based in the West Midlands, is seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant who is passionate about treasury management and looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic, market-leading organisation.

Key Responsibilities

As Treasury Manager you will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage and oversee the company's treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and relationships with banks.
  • Develop and execute strategies to optimise cash management and investment decisions.
  • Monitor and manage financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rates, and credit exposure.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial planning and analysis.
  • Lead and develop a small team, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Key Requirements

You will have the following experience for this Treasury Manager position:

  • Qualified Accountant: ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in treasury management or a similar financial role.
  • Strong analytical abilities with expertise in interpreting complex financial data.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial instruments, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a track record of effectively managing and mentoring a team.
  • Degree in accountancy, economics or business etc.
