We are currently recruiting a Band 6 Physiotherapist for one of the NHS Trusts in the West Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated professional to join a dynamic team dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to patients.

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and innovative Physiotherapist who is driven to implement change and support service development, while expanding their own and others' knowledge and skills across the service. A flexible approach is essential, along with excellent team working, organisational, and time management skills.

  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and comprehensive patient treatment records in line with CSP and HCPC standards, and Trust documentation policies.

  • Actively participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and integrate physiotherapy into the overall treatment plan.

  • Contribute to patient care discussions, progress reviews, and discharge planning.

  • Be an active member of the respiratory on-call evening and weekend service after necessary training and competency achievement.

  • Assess and treat acutely ill patients with respiratory issues during out-of-hours services.

  • Provide clinical feedback to the wider multidisciplinary team.

  • Ensure your practice meets required professional competency standards.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration

  • Evidence of continued professional development

  • Previous community experience

  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team (MDT)

  • Completed at least one rotation covering Acute Medical Wards

  • Strong assessment and treatment skills across a range of clinical settings

  • Understanding of clinical governance and audit processes
