Are you a seasoned Construction Manager with multi-disciplinary expertise and Principal Contractor experience?

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Delivery Manager to play a critical role in the execution of one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects - Hinkley Point C. This role demands a proactive leader who can plan, coordinate, and interface between multiple teams and disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.

Principal Accountabilities
* Act as the interface between multiple disciplines to ensure smooth construction execution.
* Support contract partners in delivering key work packages while mitigating safety and quality risks.
* Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring that works progress according to plan.
* Monitor and report on-site activities, escalating issues where necessary to the Senior Construction Delivery Manager.
* Coordinate logistics planning and implementation in collaboration with the wider delivery team.
* Participate in daily site meetings (PLOD/PLOW), ensuring actions are recorded and followed up.
* Undertake safety and assurance inspections, ensuring compliance with project HSPI standards.
* Foster a collaborative work environment, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications & Experience
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in Construction Management on large-scale infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing, resource allocation, and recovery planning.
* Working knowledge of CDM Regulations and their application in a principal contractor environment.
* Ability to write clear, concise, and actionable reports.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills to engage with multiple stakeholders.
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
* SMSTS or IOSH qualification.
* Ability to perform under pressure, managing competing priorities effectively.


Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Prior experience working in high-security environments.
* Previous involvement in nuclear projects (advantageous but not essential - experience in large civil engineering, MEH, or complex infrastructure projects will be considered).
