About the role:

This SEN Teacher role is to teach and support the learning of Key Stage 1 and 2 students. The school are looking for someone with a genuine passion and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate the children and improve the lives and outcomes of children with Special Educational Needs. The school are looking for someone with a strong understanding of various types of special educational needs, including but not limited to: ASD, ADHD, and ADD. This is a full-time temporary role, with the vision to turn permanent for the right candidate.

The candidate:

  • Experience of working with SEN children is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to assess individual needs to establish strengths and weaknesses
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Effective communication skills
  • Patience and empathy
  • Adaptability to meet diverse student needs
