SEN Teacher long Term / permanent contract

Location: Brighton, East Sussex

Start date: September 2024

Hours: 8:30-3:30 PM full-time

Pay: £130 - £150 per day + SEN allowance

The school aims to provide a supportive environment to promote quality teaching, empowering students to reach their full potential academically. The school are looking to appoint a dedicated and passionate SEN teacher to support students to achieve their full potential. The school are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for making a difference to the lives of children with Special Educational needs.

Do you have a passion for delivering quality education and improving the lives and outcomes for children with SEN needs?

This is a full-time temporary role, with the vision to turn permanent for the right candidate. The school are looking for someone with a strong understanding of various types of special educational needs, including but not limited to: ASD, ADHD, and ADD.

The role

Deliver engaging and interactive lessons
Maintain a positive and safe learning environment
Ensure the academic progress and the wellbeing of all students

Requirements

Experience of working in a Primary school as a teacher, SEN specialist or Senior Teaching Assistant
Have a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are prepared to obtain one
Be passionate about teaching
Have a specialist subject such as PE or a Creative lead subject
