Day-to-day of the role:- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices and payments.
- Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist with audits and tax returns.
- Handle general administrative tasks as required.
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant role or similar.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant qualifications (AAT, ACCA, or equivalent) are a plus.
