Join an award-winning digital advertising agency in Brighton as a Finance Assistant. This 6-month temporary contract is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates aiming to enter the finance profession. The role primarily focuses on accounts payable duties, with potential involvement in accounts receivable and other responsibilities during the agency's busiest season and a major systems update.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Accurately and timely processing of supplier bills.
  • Preparing payment runs, reports, and issuing remittances as required.
  • Resolving supplier and company queries professionally.
  • Collaborating with other departments to resolve finance-related issues.
  • Processing staff expenses and bank card transactions via an expense platform.
  • Supporting with accounts receivable duties including issuing sales invoices, as needed.
  • Performing administrative tasks to support the Finance team and wider business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience in finance or accounting, preferably including accounts payable.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with other MS Office products.
  • Knowledge of accounting software, Sage 50 preferred but not essential.
  • High level of accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and an effective team player.
  • Quick learner with good problem-solving and numerate skills.
  • Excellent service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.

More Details:
  • This is a full-time role but reduced hours will be considered.
  • Standard working hours are from 9am to 5:30pm, with 1 hour for lunch.
