The Requirements:
- Experience in senior brand development roles within retail, FMCG, or beauty brands.
- Proven expertise in brand building, category strategy, and campaign execution.
- Strong background in NPD, product launches, and portfolio management.
- Commercial acumen with experience in pricing strategy and profitability management.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Strong leadership experience, including coaching and team management.
- Ability to leverage consumer insights into product development and marketing strategies.
- Experience working with creative agencies and leading projects.
- International experience strongly preferred.
The Role:
- Own and drive the overall category strategy, ensuring sustainable and profitable growth.
- Safeguard and enhance brand equity, ensuring all communication aligns with brand values.
- Develop and execute a three-year strategy to build the core business and drive innovation.
- Optimise portfolio based on recruitment, retention, and consumption drivers, with clear pricing and margin targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Brand Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Digital, etc.) to ensure successful product launches.
- Develop business cases, set category targets, and monitor KPIs pre- and post-launch.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and trend reporting to maintain brand relevance.
- Lead, coach, and develop teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Engage with key markets and ensure strategic alignment across all channels.
- Continuously seek efficiency improvements and cost reductions within the business.
