Sonic Summary

We are seeking an Individual Needs Assistant with experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), particularly with Autism, to work 1:1 with a KS2 child.
The ideal candidate should have at least some experience with SEND or a strong desire to learn, and must be patient, adaptable, and proactive.
This is a full-time position that offers an annual salary of up to £20,057 and opportunities for further training.
Candidates must have a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check before starting work.

Individual Needs Assistant Needed

We are looking for a passionate individual who has experience with SEND, particularly Autism. This role will be working 1:1 with a KS2 child with SEND needs, including Autism and SEMH needs.

About you:

Be patient, adaptable and resilient
Experienced working with SEND; Autism, or be passionate about learning how to do so
Understanding of Non-verbal and Speech and Language difficulties
Willingness to learn
Be reliable
Be passionate about supporting children with SEND, or Children in general
Be proactive
Can previously be a Support Worker / Carer
Personal experience with SEND / Challenging behaviour
